Meet Your Defense Attorney

Grace Castleberg

Grace Castleberg is a criminal defense attorney who represents individuals in state and federal court. A tenacious advocate and skilled legal writer, Grace approaches each case with careful preparation and a commitment to understanding both the law and the person behind the case.

Grace began her career at The JAB Firm as a law clerk while still in law school. In May 2026, Grace earned her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she distinguished herself in litigation, legal writing, and trial advocacy. She served as a Senior Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and as the Trial Advocacy Director.

The courtroom is where Grace thrives. It’s in that space where she combines strong oral advocacy with an ability to build rapport with attorneys, judges, and jurors. She honed these skills as a member of the University of St. Thomas Trial Advocacy team. In 2026, her team won the Regional Texas Young Lawer’s (TYLA) National Trial Competition, earning a place among just thirty teams nationwide to advance to the national competition.

At the heart of Grace’s practice, however, are the people she represents. She takes time to understand each client’s circumstances, concerns, and goals so they feel heard and supported throughout their case. She is not only committed to protecting their rights, but also to advocating for them with care.

Before becoming an attorney, Grace competed as a collegiate track and field athlete at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and grew up on a farm in rural southeastern Minnesota. Outside of work, Grace enjoys staying active at the gym, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
